From rainbow salads to smoothie bowls, vegan burgers and authentic Indonesian food, you can just keep on eating while holidaying in Seminyak. We love the charming vegan cafes that colour the streets of Oberoi and Petitenget. But there are also hidden gems you may have never heard of before. These are some of the best vegan cafes in town:
1. Kynd Community

Probably the most famous vegan cafe in Seminyak, we can’t help but adore this hipster hang-out that sits right by the roadside on the trendy Petitenget Strip. We love the fact it has a secret garden in the back where you can chill with friends, checking out their recipe books or simply enjoying a cold fresh young coconut while waiting for something yummy vegan from the plant-based menu. Yep, Kynd Community is 100% vegan. You can easily spot this cafe on the street. Just look out for bright pink and green colours and cool mural paintings.
2. Tasty Vegan

Now, this is one of our secret spots if you love to try the vegan version of traditional Indonesian cuisine. If you are strolling around on Jalan Raya Seminyak coming from Sunset Point, you will see a little sign by the roadside on your right. Enter the gang and you will find a lovely little garden with ponds, fountains and greenery. Sit down at one of the tables and wait for the lovely staff to bring you the menu. We loved the vegan satay!
3. Earth Cafe

Earth cafe has always been a place to check-in for a healthy vegetarian meal but now, they created a menu that is 100% plant-based. Fantastic news for the vegan travellers among us. Earth Cafe is located on Oberoi Road, very close to many of our beloved private pool villas. Open from early morning until late in the evening, you can come in for breakfast on the way to the beach, grab some groceries on the way back (they have a cool health-food shop inside) and come back for dinner. Perfect!
4. Nalu Bowls

Hands down – this is the best place to get a smoothie bowl in Bali. Nalu Bowls is a fabulous little cafe that sells smoothie bowls only. Yep, they are true experts! All vegan, healthy and made fresh right before your eyes. That’s the way we like it. In need of something more than just a bowl? That’s okay, you can sit upstairs at Shelter Cafe and have your bowl up there together with a vegan latte or whatever you are craving for. Shelter Cafe is not just a cafe, it’s a breezy rooftop garden you’ll love.
