Coffee

If you love coffee as much as we do, you’ll be happy to know the coffee culture is top-notch in Seminyak. There are many excellent coffee hot spots to check out. Close to Villa Shanti, we love The Library, Revolver Espresso, Coffee Cartel and Expat. Roasters and if that’s too far for you to walk, they also serve Expat. Roasters Coffee at Mano Beach Club which is just 1,2 km away from the villa.

Breakfast

Like everyone else, we love Sisterfields, located opposite of Seminyak Village, just a 500 m stroll away from the villa. Mano Beach Club has a great 100K breakfast deal until 11 (served with Expat. Roasters Coffee) and the beachfront location is just fabulous. Zibiru offers a homebaked croissant with coffee for just 50K and you want to go really French, check out Monsieur Spoonnear Seminyak Village.

Dinner

The best Italian with a fantastic beachfront location: La Lucciola. These guys don’t even have a website and it’s always fully booked for dinner. Eat Street has plenty of excellent dining options
including Ginger Moon, The Bistrotand Chandi. For more famous restaurants, head over to Petitenget Street (home to Sarong, Merah Putih, Bambu, Metis and many more hot dining spots).

Nightlife

La Favela! This restaurant, bar and nightlife hot spots on Eat Street Oberoi is absolutely gorgeous and always busy and happening. Even better, La Favela is just 700m away from Villa Shanti. Other places to go after midnight: Red Carpet Champagne Bar, KU DE TA and Potato Head.

For families

KU DE TA on Sundays for activities and family fun. Made’s Warung for traditional Indonesian food and Balinese dance performances. Dream Museum Zonen for a whole new museum experience (one the kids will love!). Waterbom Bali over in Kuta for the ultimate waterpark family day. Finns Recreation Club for all kinds of family entertainment.

For couples

Hit the spa and try out a spa package for couples. We love Bodyworks. Go for Sunset cocktails at KU DE TA Beach Club or head over to La Plancha on Double Six to soak up the good vibes. Romantic dinners are best at fabulous beachfront restaurants such as La Lucciola or Sunset on Seminyak.

For guys

Go party on Oberoi Road and shop for some comfortable and stylish beachwear, as well.

For girls

Go shopping Oberoi Road and check out all of the lovely designers’ boutiques such as Lulu Jasmine, Magali Pascal, Lily Jean and many more. Spend lots of time at the spa (try Blow Bar, Bodyworks, Prana Spa, Rob Peetoom and Sundari Day Spa). Dress up and check out the nightlife at places like La Favela. The chef can also prepare a mouthwatering BBQ buffet in the garden upon request (additional charges apply).
